I’ve had some lovely sights through my window at the Wannabe Ranch in West Duluth over the past few weeks. On many mornings, a pileated woodpecker has stopped by to check out the suet log. And this morning I had a particular treat: A male and a female cardinal, nibbling on the safflower.
I’ve loved seeing all of your reports this fall; it seems like there’s some unusual activity this year.
