That would be Bob White, or, actually, bobwhites.
Kim Breimeier, who lives near Ely, sent these picture taken by her husband, Paul, in their backyard:

The northern bobwhites are not native to the area, Kim writes, but six of them have been spotted in their immediate area over the years. “I don’t know how they survive the roaming dogs, feral cats and wolves in the area, but so far they have,” she writes.
